This time last year we submitted our mood boards to Grand Designs Live, to be in the chance of designing some room sets at the show and to our delight were chosen! We had such a great time designing and putting together the sets last year we decided to apply again and with great pleasure we can announce we are doing it again!
Designing room sets and styling offers a great opportunity to do something a bit different, experiment with colour, show off new styles and maybe combine colours and patterns that maybe some projects are not quite ready for! We want visitors to be inspired and take away elements of our design for their own homes, be it the use of colour combinations, products used or arrangements.
The theme for this show was colour block and we took our initial inspiration from a stormy summer sky in Britain over the sea. Blue/ grey tones mixed with a glowing rich yellow nods to the sun setting behind large dark clouds. Pale dusty pink reminds us of the pink tones reflected by the sun setting behind the clouds.
To create our room set we will be using products from: Alexander and Pearl, Astella Hrela, Bluebellegray, Carpenter and Carpenter, Easy Art, Fired Earth, Heid Krichen, Murafloor, Naken Interiors, Outthere interiors, Plantation Rugs, Print Wagon, Sofa.com, Swoon Editions and TandShop.
More updates coming soon....
